Katie Stevens, PT, DPT, AIB-CON is a manual orthopedic therapist at Active Solutions in Edgewood. She completed a rigorous Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency at Advent Health Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Katie is certified by the American Institute of Balance to treat concussions and treats patients with vertigo, dizziness, and balance impairments.
Doctor Stevens earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2013. She completed the challenging Orthopedic Residency Program at Advent Health Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2019. She became a certified concussion specialist in 2019 and is actively pursuing manual therapy certification. She has experience working with football, crossfit, and Olympic Weightlifting athletes.
She enjoys working with the sports population and spinal diagnoses.
Katie enjoys reading and playing/watching sports particularly football and soccer. Her and her husband are involved in an organization called Canine Companions for Independence where they foster puppies before they enter into professional training to become service dogs for veterans and children with physical disabilities.
Rachel Harrison, PT, DPT, CSCS earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico. She has an extensive background in exercise science as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS), Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM-CES), and is a certified Kinesio Tape practitioner.
Doctor Harrison earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico. In 2009, she became a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS) and became certified as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM-CES) in 2011. She is a Level II Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner. Rachel has experience working with soccor and volleyball athletes and runners as well as the people in the general population that like to be active. She loves balance training and helping clients with fall prevention as well as working with children and clients with neurological injuries (stroke and brain injury.)
She performs acrobatic yoga and enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and a variety of outdoor activities. When she has quiet time she likes to read and spend time with her family.
Danielle is an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from the University of New Mexico and Pima Medical Institute. She developed a passion for outpatient care from watching her brother participate in physical therapy as he learned to use a prosthesis for his left arm. This made outpatient care very near and dear to her heart.
Danielle specializes in helping her clients to optimize proper form and alignment during exercises and manual technique. She is devoted to helping her clients restore their best health.
Away from work she enjoys outdoor adventures with her two huskies and long rides through the mountain pass on her Harley.
Justin Snow, PT, DPT earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico.
Doctor Snow enjoys treating sports related injuries, repetitive overuse conditions. He has a passion for teaching patients how they can incorporate everyday movement to reduce their risk of injury in everyday life.
He excels at treating the shoulder, low back and ankle. He believes there are many ways to approach treatment but finding the right one makes all the difference.
Outside of work he enjoys playing basketball, road biking and hiking with his two dogs, Booker and Cersei.
Emily is a Physical Therapist Assistant with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Kentucky. She is experienced in the outpatient physical therapy setting.
She enjoys challenging patients to excel in therapeutic exercise to gain optimal function in daily life. She has a passion for education constantly growing her skills through courses in manual therapy and kinesiology tape.
In her free time, Emily enjoys traveling with her husband, baking, and playing racket sports.
Crystal is a New Mexico Licensed Massage Therapist with 5 years of experience. She also has advanced training in medical massage with a particular interest in patients with TMJ, neck and shoulder issues. When she is not working, Crystal enjoys spending time with her 2 children and her husband.
Caroline received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Georgia State University. She focuses her expertise in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, with more detailed experience in wellness coaching, total joint replacement, post-operative, and sports rehab. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, hiking, traveling and spending time with her boyfriend and puppy.
